Description
Nationally acclaimed Mankato artist, Marian Anderson painted a five-by-eight-foot mural depicting the turn-of-the-20th century Mankato scenes that became the foundation of Maud Hart Lovelace’s Betsy-Tacy children’s books. The new Minnesota Valley Regional Library (now Blue Earth County Library) dedicated the Maud Hart Lovelace Wing in 1977. The mural was unveiled and dedicated on March 9, 1980.
A limited number of posters were printed and personally signed by artist, Marian Anderson. Poster size: 11 1/2″ x 14″.
